Feed

The endless, ranked stream a person scrolls. It rewards the immediate and forgets the rest, so we make work that survives the first second.

The feed is an attention market refreshed by the thumb, ranked by machinery that rewards the immediately legible. Work enters it stripped of context, playing without sound, competing against everything at once. Whatever is not communicated in the first second was, for most viewers, never communicated.

Surviving the first second is craft, not compromise: open on the strongest frame, let composition do the arguing before sound is allowed, put the mark where the crop cannot eat it. But we build for two audiences at once, the scroller who gets one clear second, and the person who stops, for whom the piece must then reward the stay.
