Privacy. What we keep, and what we do not.
The short version.
We collect as little as possible. We do not sell data, we do not run advertising trackers, and we do not build profiles of the people who read this site.
What you send us.
If you write through the contact form or by email, we receive your name, your email address and whatever you choose to tell us. We keep that correspondence so we can answer it and, if we work together, so we have a record of what was agreed.
What the site records.
Our host keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser, requested page) for security and to keep the site running. If we use analytics, it is aggregate and cookie free; see the Cookies page.
Who else sees it.
Only the services that make the site work: our host, our form handler and our email provider. They process data on our instructions and nothing is sold or shared for marketing.
How long we keep it.
Enquiries are kept while the conversation is live and for a reasonable period after, so we can find them again. Server logs are kept for a short retention window and then discarded. Write to us if you want your correspondence deleted sooner.
Your rights.
You can ask what we hold, ask for a copy, ask for a correction, or ask us to delete it. One email is enough: abraham@parlador.us. We answer these ourselves.
Changes.
If this page changes, the date above changes with it. Material changes will be described in plain language rather than buried.
