A transcript frees the spoken word from the clock: the whole piece as text, readable in a tenth of the runtime, quotable in a sentence, skimmable for the one passage that matters. It is the work's entry into the economy of text, where search lives.

Searchable, quotable and found is the strategic point: crawlers and AI engines read text, not audio, so an untranscribed film is invisible to the systems that route attention. Publishing transcripts alongside the work is cheap, mechanical and compounding, every film becomes a page, every page a door.
