Distribution

The work of getting the finished thing in front of people: channels chosen, formats translated, timing staged. Making is half; this is the other half.

Distribution is where good work goes to be seen or to be wasted: the film exists, and now every choice, which channels, what order, which cut for which surface, what the first audience is, decides its actual reach. The romantic error is believing quality distributes itself; occasionally it does, as a lottery does.

The craft is a plan as deliberate as the production's: each destination gets its native version, not an export flung everywhere; sequencing builds, premiere, press, feed, archive; and the work's home, the owned page every path leads back to, is ready before the first share. We budget distribution thinking into every project, because unseen excellence is indistinguishable from absence.
