Rollout

The unglamorous spread of a launch across places and time. The launch makes the noise; the rollout makes it real.

The rollout is the launch's long second act: territory by territory, surface by surface, the announced thing becoming the actual thing everywhere the brand lives. It has no applause built in, which is exactly why it separates operators from announcers.

The craft is sequencing and consistency: which markets first, which surfaces can wait, and how the promise survives translation into each. Rollouts fail quietly, an old logo on a lingering page, a region running last year's message, and each inconsistency invoices the brand in small amounts of trust.
