Publishing

The act of making work public on your own authority: pressing the button, owning the consequences. Every brand is now a publisher, few behave like one.

Publishing was once a gate held by others; now the gate is a button, and the discipline the gatekeepers enforced, editing, standards, cadence, rights, must be self-imposed or it is absent. Behaving like a publisher means work is reviewed before release, dated, credited and stood behind.

Cadence is the underrated half: publishers ship on rhythm, not on mood, because audiences form habits around reliability. An archive that grows steadily compounds authority in a way sporadic brilliance cannot. The bar we hold: publish only what we would still sign in five years, and publish it properly, titled, credited, permanent.
